Harlem violence interrupter Iesha Sekou and Hip-Hop Artist HD call for accountability to curb shootings

Street Corner Resources CEO and Founder Iesha Sekou and Hip-Hop Artist HD called for accountability and more resources for youth during the 10th Annual Push 4 Peace: Stopping the Shootings Town Hall held by Fox 5 News reporter Lisa Evers on June 23, 2021 at the NYPD Community Center on Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn.

 

To stop the shootings that have been on the rise in the city, Sekou is urging the NYPD to do what they preach, while HD is pressing his Hip Hop counterparts to be more responsible with their lyrics and attitude.

Other panelists included NYPD Chief of Department Rodney Harrison and NYPD Chief of Community Affairs Bureau Chief Jeffrey Maddrey.
