Congo: Chinese company exports 1,100 tons of zinc and lead from Congo

Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) – The chairman and director general of the Chinese company, Lulu de Mine, Zou Delyn, announced on Monday that it exported 1,100 tons of zinc and lead from south Congo this month.

In a communiqué issued in Brazzaville, Delyn said this was a historic event for the company as well as a big progress in mineral exports from Congo.

He said the Lulu de Mine company and its staff respected and would adhere strictly to the laws and the regulations in force in Congo.

“As we go, we’ll increase our social investments so as to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country,” Delyn said.
