Community Pride honors seven Phenomenal Women in Harlem

Community pride, a program of Harlem Children’s Zone working with adults and families to build a healthy Harlem, hosted a brunch celebrating women on May 3, 2014 at the HCZ Academy in Harlem.

The event started with a community fair followed by a fashion show and an award ceremony.

HCZ current COO, Anne Williams-Isom, who will be succeeding Geoffrey Canada as CEO of the organization in July, was among the seven women who received a Phenomenal Woman award.

The other honorees were:
