Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrates 34 years of empowering entrepreneurs

The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CACCI) celebrated 34 years of empowering entrepreneurs on October 14, 2019 in Brooklyn during its 34th Annual Awards. The 2019 theme of the celebration was Fostering Collaboration and partnerships while promoting unity and economic parity.

 

The 2019 CACCI Small Business Champions were:

John Ferdinand, Chief Business Development Director, Haitian American Caucus

Hazra Ali, President & CEO, New Hope and Beyond, Inc

Maria Tychi-Kefalas, Manager, People United Bank

Christopher Percival, Real Estate Agent, Compass Realty

Dr. Jo-Ann Rolle, Dean of Medgar Evers College School of Business

John Robinson, President and Founder of National Minority Business Council (NMBC)

 

The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CACCI) was founded in August 1985, to provide business assistance to small and start-up business owners.

 

The organization also manages the Flatbush Caton Market, an indoor shopping mall in East Flatbush, Brooklyn with over 40 African and Caribbean vendors and a Café.
