Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, along with several City and State officials, unveiled a Black Lives Matter mural on the street along the stretch of Joralemon Street between Adams and Court Streets. Large yellow letters spelling, “Black Lives Matter”, painted by members of the community as well as officials, are now standing between the two historic buildings, the Brooklyn Borough Hall and the Municipal building.

After the street mural unveiling, Joralemon Street was co-named Black Lives Matter Blvd.
