Bradhurst Merchants Association to honor Christian Damiba, Malcolm Punter and Angie Hancock

Bradhurst Merchants Association, Inc will be holding its 2nd Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 23rd at MIST Harlem.

The organization will honor this year 3 individuals:

2016 President’s award: Christian Damiba, MBA, PMP, Director NYC Business Solutions, a center providing information and services offered by the Department of Small Business Services to help businesses start, operate and expand in New York City.

2016 Community Partner Award: Malcolm Punter, Interim President/CEO Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. (HCCI). HCCI is committed to providing economic development and empowerment opportunities to help Harlem residents rebuild and sustain their community.

2016 Business of the Year: Ms. Angie Hancock, Founder/President of Experience Harlem, a multimedia marketing company that brings together Harlem’s best shopping, dining, arts & culture businesses with people who live, work and play in upper Manhattan.

According to the Bradhurst Merchants Association, Inc, “200 to 400 million dollars leave the Bradhurst District and are spent elsewhere. “The BMA would like to see those funds stay in the community to help sustain employment and potential retailers supplying the areas with necessary goods and services.”
