Black Men’s Brunch and Mayor Eric Adams honor actor Jamie Hector and Block Power founder Donnel Baird

 The Black Men’s Brunch, an initiative started by nonprofit organization 500 Men Making a Difference and Mayor Eric Adams, celebrated on March 26, 2022, in partnership with Man Up Inc., its 10th anniversary at the Simpson Restaurant & Bar in Brooklyn.

 

State Senator Kevin Parker and Mayor Eric Adams attended the event and honored actor and philanthropist Jamie Hector and Block Power founder Donnel Baird.

Rev. Alfonso R. Bernard, Sr., pastor of the Christian Cultural Center Megachurch, also present made a $10,000 contribution to 500 Men Making a Difference.

Black Men’s Brunch is a platform created for like-minded Black men to work together, support local Black businesses, and mentor young Black men.
