Air Senegal’s Dakar New-York/Washington line is open

The long-awaited launch of Air Senegal’s Dakar New-York/Washington line was held at the Blaise Diagne Airport in Dakar on September 1st 2021.

Several officials including Senegalese Minister of Tourism Alioune Sarr, Blaise Diagne Airport’s Director Doudou Ka, US Ambassador Tulinabo S. Mushingi, Air Senegal Director Ibrahima Kane, Las Director Askin Demir and Consul General Elhadji Ndanghane Ndao attended the launch.

The celebration also included a projection and a free concert with Senegalese superstar Viviane Chidid.

 

Air Senegal flights are operated by the company’s second Airbus A330 neo widebody, equipped with 32 flatbed seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy and 237 in Economy class,

Air Senegal is giving travelers a baggage allowance of 64kg in Business and Premium Economy and 46kg in Economy.

For tickets purchased before December 31, 2021 the company is allowing a third piece of luggage.
