Various topics including water sanitation, maternal mortality, education and disability were discussed at the African Hope Committee CSW59 Forum held on March 13, 2015 at the National Black Theater in Harlem.
African Hope Committee gave a voice to organizations based in French speaking African countries to discuss women’s issues from an African perspective.
Among the different presentations, the most poignant testimony was certainly the journey of Ernestine Njankou with her autistic son.
African Hope Committee also celebrated its 10th anniversary during the event.
