African Advisory Council of the Bronx hosts 1st Annual African Heritage Multicultural Dance and Music Festival

The African Advisory Council of the Bronx Borough President’s Office hosted its 1st Annual African Heritage Multicultural Dance and Music Festival on September 18, 2019 at Hostos Community College.

Several African artists including Salieu Suso, Sali Sanogo, Michael Olenga, Oliver MBamara, Perfecta Ekpo, Garifuna Dance Group, Tapani, Mohammed Ali and Northern Band took the stage.

Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz Jr. was among the officials who attended the event.
