On April 12, 2017, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo signed legislation enacting the Excelsior Scholarship to provide tuition-free college at New York’s public universities to families making up to $125,000 a year.
If you are a 19+ US citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible non-citizen with a New York City address, you can earn a tuition-free degree at a CUNY or SUNY College of your choice.
