The Moroccan national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, on Thursday inaugurated a new direct route between Casablanca and Washington.
In a communiqué, the airline said that the airline would operate the route three days a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a 274-seat long-haul aircraft.
The flights are planned to link the airline’s network at the continental level, particularly the Casablanca-Nairobi route.
This new route is the third in 2016 using a long-haul aircraft after Nairobi and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
