Beyond the Lights stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nate Parker at the Urbanworld Film Festival

The nation’s largest competitive multicultural film festival, Urbanworld Film Festival, opened with Beyond the Lights on September 18, 2014, at SAV Theatre in Manhattan.
The film written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, tells the story of a talented young musician on the brink of stardom who is struggling with the pressure of her new-found success.
Film stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nate Parker attended the opening night.
