Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) – The Tunisian ministry of foreign affairs announced on Friday that it would cancel entry visas into Tunisia for 20 countries, especially in Eastern Europe and Africa.
Countries to benefit from the measure include Russia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Montenegro, Lithuania, Slovakia, Moldavia, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Iran, Costa Rica, the Republic of Comoros, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Gabon and South Africa.
The ministry said that nationals from those countries must only have valid travel papers and that their stay in Tunisia would not exceed three months.
Tunisia said the decision was to strengthen bilateral cooperation and relations between Tunisia and other countries.
