The Elombe Brath Foundation, in partnership with Councilmember Yusef Salaam, joined community members to celebrate the life of Grandassa model and community activist Helene Nomsa Brath.

The unveiling of the street sign in her honor took place on September 28, 2024, at 112th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd in Harlem.
