The City launches ActionNYC, a free immigration legal help for immigrants

Deputy Mayor Richard Buery and Commissioner Nisha Agarwal of the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) hosted a roundtable discussion on the launch of ActionNYC on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at City Hall.

ActionNYC offers free, safe immigration legal help to immigrant New Yorkers.

A trusted network of community-based organizations partnering with the city will offer free legal help for a range of cases, including citizenship, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), and preparation for expanded DACA and DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans).

All immigrants can benefit from ActionNYC’s services, including the 540,700 undocumented New Yorkers.
