Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (PANA) – Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli swore in on Saturday his cabinet of 15 ministers and 15 deputy ministers at a ceremony held at the State House in Dar es Salaam.
The president announced the cabinet on Thursday, 35 days after he took his own oath of office, following the general and presidential elections held on October 25, 2015 in Tanzania.
So far the cabinet comprises 15 ministers and 15 deputy ministers. The president has left four ministerial portfolios vacant to be filled later. These are for ministers of: Works, Transport and Communications; Finance and Planning, Natural Resources and Tourism; and Education, Science, Technology and Vocational Training.
