Selma’s director Ava DuVernay and lead actor David Oyelowo attended the Urbanworld Film Festival in New York a few months ago for their first public dialogue about one of the must-see movies of 2015, Selma.
Ava Duvernay along with David Oyelowo who already won two awards for his breathtaking portrayal of Martin Luther King Jr. shared behind the scenes clips of SELMA with the audience during a conversation moderated by Urbanworld executive producer Gabrielle Glore.
Selma, a film based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by Martin Luther King Jr., opened in selected theaters on Christmas day but will be everywhere Friday, January 9, 2015.
David Oyelowo is inspiring, Ava Duvernay brilliant and casting director Aisha Coley mind-blowing.
