The office of New York City Council Member, Vanessa L. Gibson, celebrated Ghana’s 60th year of independence on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at City Hall Chambers in Manhattan.
Were honored for their contributions to the community: Yaw Nyarko, founding director of NYU’s Africa House; H.E. Ama Akyaa Pobee, Ambassador of Ghana to the United Nations and Dr. Victor Essien

Le bureau de la conseillère municipale de la ville de New York Vanessa L. Gibson, a célébré les 60 ans d’indépendance du Ghana le Jeudi 9 Mars, 2017 à l’Hôtel de Ville de Manhattan.
Ont été honorés pour leur contribution au sein de la communauté : Yaw Nyarko, directeur fondateur de NYU Africa House ; S.E. Ama Akyaa Pobee, Ambassadeur du Ghana auprès des Nations Unies et Dr. Victor Essien.
