NYC Health + Hospitals hosted on March 28, 2017, at Harlem Hospital, an “Immigrant Health Care Rights” panel discussion to help educate immigrant communities and provide access to information and resources.
The forum was meant to address a variety of important health care topics affecting immigrants, such as health care rights, access to care, services and programs for immigrants, and privacy concerns regarding immigration status.
Representatives from NYC Health + Hospitals, the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, New York Immigration Coalition, and New York Legal Assistance Group were part of the panel discussion, followed by audience questions.
NYC Health + Hospitals hosted a week before a forum at Kings County and is planning one at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx on April 11, from 6:30 to 8pm.

Les hôpitaux publics de New York, NYC Health + Hospitals ont tenu un panel de discussion sous le thème « Les droits des immigrés en matière de santé » le 28 mars 2017 à Harlem Hospital pour aider à éduquer les communautés immigrées et fournir un accès à de l’information et des ressources.
Le forum avait pour objet de traiter une variété de sujets de santé importants touchant les immigrés, comme le droit à la santé, l’accès aux soins, les services et programmes pour les immigrés, et les questions de confidentialité concernant le statut d’immigrant.
Des représentants de NYC Health + Hospitals, le bureau du maire chargé des immigrés, New York Immigration Coalition et New York Legal Assistance Group ont fait partie de la table ronde, suivie de questions.
NYC Health + Hospitals a organisé un forum il y a une semaine à Kings County et est entrain de planifier un autre à Lincoln Hospital dans le Bronx le 11 avril, de 18h30 à 20h.
