Nigerian New-Yorker Joyce Adewumi presented the 12th Annual NYC Multicultural Festival on June 5, 2021 at the Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell in Harlem.
The theme of this year’s festival, which was started in 2010 to celebrate one another’s culture was: “Culture and Diversity Unite Communities.”
Several artists from various backgrounds including Batala Drummers, Dominican Dance Squad, Korean
Traditional Dance Choomnoori, and The Jazz Man performed at the event.
The Consul General of Nigeria Lot Peter Egopija, State Senator Robert Jackson and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer were some of the elected officials spotted at the event.
