The New York Urban League honored Sherry B. Bronfman during its 51st Annual Frederick Douglass Awards dinner held at Chelsea Piers on May 17, 2016.
Sherry B Bronfman received the Ann S. Kheel award for her contributions to the arts and philanthropy in the black community.
Other honorees include Michael A. Cardozo, Senior Partner, Proskauer Rose LLP and Amalgamated Bank who were the recipients of the Frederick Douglass Medallion.
The Volunteer Service Award was presented to Deutsch and the Special Recognition Award to Congressman Charles B. Rangel.
A dancing after party followed the award ceremony hosted by Janice Huff, Chief Meteorologist at NBC4.
