Bamako, Mali (PANA) – Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Kéita will lead his country’s delegation at the World Economic Forum 2014 to be held September 10-12 in the Chinese city of Tianjin, official sources said Wednesday.
According to the same sources, the Malian president has been invited to the Forum by the government of China and Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and executive director of the World Economic Forum.
The Malian delegation will include a number of government officials, economic operators and experts in various fields.
Regarded as the world’s biggest event on sciences and technology, innovation and enterprising spirit, this year’s edition of the Forum focuses on the theme “Creating value thanks to innovation”.
The Malian government will use the meeting as an opportunity to develop dynamic partnerships, the sources said.
