Yusef Salaam and Raymond Santana flew from Atlanta, and Kevin Richardson came from New Jersey to endorse the one they say was there for them from the beginning, Cordell Cleare, during a fundraiser held on October 30, 2021 at Lenox Saphire in Harlem.
The exonerated 5 showed their support by inviting Harlemites to vote for the “Cleare Choice” and contributed financially to the campaign.
Cordell Cleare, who is running to replace now Lt. Governor Brian Benjamin as New York’s District 30 State Senator, will host her last fundraiser before the November 2nd election at her longtime supporter and friend Valerie Joe Bradley’s home. NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, among other officials, is expected to attend the event.
A “Get Out The Vote” Rally in Harlem is also scheduled on Monday, November 1st, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the A. Philip Randolph Square, located on 117th Street and Saint Nicholas Ave.
