During a press conference held today at Bellevue Hospital, Dr. Craig Spencer who is now free of the Ebola virus reminded everyone that if he was now healthy, there were still thousands of Ebola patients who needed help.
“When my case has garnered international attention, it is important to remember that my infection is a small fraction of more than 13,000 reported cases today in West Africa,” Dr. Spencer said.
I urge you please to focus your attention where it is mostly needed, at the source of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa,” Dr. Spencer added.
