On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) will host a Jobs NYC Hiring Hall at the Polo Grounds Cornerstone Community Center in Upper Manhattan. This event aims to connect jobseekers with employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in onsite interviews with select employers.
- Access workforce development training and programs.
- Learn about government resources and benefits.
Jobs NYC is a citywide initiative designed to reduce barriers to economic opportunities and provide workforce development services directly to communities with high unemployment rates. This marks the 31st Jobs NYC Hiring Hall. Since February 2024, more than 9,800 New Yorkers have attended these events, resulting in over 3,200 onsite interviews and 1,209 conditional employment offers.
