On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Congolese communities from around the Tri-State area, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of International Affairs and other members of the African community, gathered at Bowling Green Park in Lower Manhattan to celebrate Congolese independence and their contributions to the fabric of New York City.
