By Isseu Diouf Campbell
Nigerian-born novelist and short-story writer Chimamanda Adichie was in New York City on May 20, 2013 to promote her latest book, Americanah.
The event held at the Symphony Space started with a superb performance by actress Francesca Choy-Kee giving the audience a glimpse of the book, followed by a conversation with Adichie and editor Robin Desser.
Chimamanda Adichie took also the time to respond to questions from the audience before signing copies of her 4th book.
Americanah is, according to the author, about many things including hair, race, immigration, religion and of course love.
