Bound: Africans vs. African-Americans, a documentary exploring the tension between Africans and African-Americans will be screened at the Best of ADIFF on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Teachers College.
The documentary, which premiered at the African Diaspora Film Festival in December was directed by Kenyan filmmaker and actress Peres Owino and sparked a lively debate during the Q&A session following the screening.
Bound: Africans vs. African-Americans won the public award for best film directed by a woman of color and is a must see for every African and African-American.
The documentary will be available for purchase in February 2015 via Google Play.
