Americans of African descent marched with pride along Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard, from 111th to 135th Street, on September 17, 2024, during the 55th African American Day Parade chaired by Imam Hassan.
African Americans from various sectors, including politics, entertainment, healthcare, public service, clergy, sororities, unions, sport and non-profit organizations, were represented.
