African New Yorkers Highlight Culture and Unity at the African Unity Festival in Harlem

The African Unity Parade, Inc., in collaboration with the New York City African Council and The Africa Center, hosted the inaugural African Unity Festival at The Africa Center in Harlem on October 19, 2024.

According to the organizers, this festival was more than just a musical showcase; it was a celebration of shared heritage and the vibrant diversity of African cultures.

The African Unity Festival serves as a precursor to the Grand African Unity Parade and Festival set for 2025, kicking off a year-long celebration of African heritage and unity.
