The African American Day Parade Inc. celebrated its 50th year in the Harlem community on September 15, 2019.
The 2019 Grand Marshals of the annual parade starting on 111th Street and ending on 136th Street included Brian A. Benjamin, Leah Daughtry, Gale Brewer, Inez Dickens, Adriano Espaillat, David Dinkins Melba Moore, Charles Rangel and Keith Wright.
This year’s theme was “Integrity and Transparency = Good government”
