The 8th Annual African Day Parade and Festival will take place today Sunday, October 19, 2014, in Harlem.
Members of the African Diaspora will start marching at 12 noon from 135th street and Lenox Ave to 122nd street.
A festival at the Marcus Garvey Park will follow the march at 4pm.
The African Day Parade and Festival celebrates every year the culture and accomplishments of continental Africans.
