21st Columbia Africa Conference Opens in Harlem

The 21st Columbia Africa Conference began on October 25, 2024, at Columbia University’s Business School in Harlem, featuring keynote speeches by Christina Duarte and Jean-Paul Adam from the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa.

Duarte and Adam addressed Africa’s biggest challenges, including debt, youth unemployment, climate change, food insecurity, and health disparities.

The conference will continue on October 26 with solution-focused discussions on healthcare, sports, infrastructure, technology, fashion, food security, and climate change.
