Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) – “The night of the blind moon”, presented by Tunisian film director, Khadija Mkacher, won on Saturday the first prize of the fourth edition of the North African Film Festival, held on April 7-11, 2015, in Oujda, Morocco.
The film told the story of three teenaged girls whose dreams were to get hooked to a man each, but decided to take part in a mythical ceremony in a cemetery in the city of Jerid, southern Tunisia, to avoid celibacy.
Algerian Rachid Ben Allal actor won the award for the best actor for his role in the film ”Level crossing” whose director, Anis Djaad, won the award for the best director, while the Maghrebian film ”Border” won the award for best screenplay.
The festival also featured several training workshops in different film areas, especially on film analysis and script writing.
