Harlemites had a lot of fun on Harlem day, which took place on august 17th, 2014, along 135th Street from St. Nicholas Avenue to 5th Avenue.
The event featuring a children’s festival, a health village, an Auto Show, entertainment, and vendors, was part of the 40th edition of one of the most popular summer festivals, Harlem Week, themed this year “Forever Harlem: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow”
The festival started in 1974 as a one-day event, and celebrates every year “the unique essence of Harlem”.
