The December 12th Movement held its 32nd Annual Black Power Rally and Shut’em Down March in Harlem along 125th Street to celebrate the 96th birthday of civil rights activist Malcolm X.
Malcolm X supporters walked along 125th Street shouting “Whose Streets? Our streets!” and urging businesses along the strip to close from 1 to 4 p.m. in honor of Malcolm X.
The group was joined this year by Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.
