Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte and Senator James Sanders, Jr. hosted the 1st Annual MWBE Networking Reception during The New York State Association of Black, Puerto Rican Legislators, Inc.’s 49th Annual Legislative Conference in Albany on February 15, 2020.
MWBE CO-Chairs Bichotte and Sanders, Jr. honored MWBE Champions Pamela Swanigan, SUNY Albany, Bill Howell, Howell Industries and Raul VazQuez, GBUAHN.
Guest speakers included Deputy Mayor J. Phillip Thompson and Congressman Gregory Meeks.
Jazz band Out of the Box entertained the crowd during the event sponsored by New York City Office of MWBE, 100 Black Men, GRU ACO, the School Construction Authority, NAMC, the Port Authority of NY & NJ and Capalino + Company.
