Brooklyn-born actress Nia Long with roots in Trinidad, Grenada and Barbados was honored by Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray at the West Indian and Caribbean American Heritage Reception held on August 27, 2019 at Gracie Mansion.
